  • You are responsible for your belongings and cash float. While no theft has been reported, secure your valuables.
  • Bring plenty of change. Be ready for customers wanting to break large bills for small purchases.
  • If using a mobile POS, ensure it works before the event. Remember, no power outlets are available, so have a power bank on hand.
  • For any questions or assistance, visit the Sticky Institute stall or speak to a volunteer in a fluorescent pink vest.

Other

  • Check-in starts at 11 AM.
  • Provide your full legal name and phone number for check-in, and you'll receive a wristband with your table number. Keep it on until the day ends.
  • Empty tables will be removed at 12:30 PM. Late arrivals will not be allowed to set up.
  • If tabling both days, you must check in each day.
  • The event runs from 12 PM to 5 PM.
  • Bring snacks and dress for the weather.

On the day

  • Non-gendered toilets are available.
  • Power outlets cannot be used, as all plugged items must be tagged and tested. Bring a power bank for device charging.
  • Pets, including dogs, cats, and other animals, are not allowed. Service animals are welcome with proper identification.
  • Dispose of your rubbish at the end of the day. Please clean up after yourself to avoid burdening our volunteers.
  • Kensington Town Hall is not a smoking venue. Smoking or vaping must be done at least 5 meters from any door.
  • The festival is all-ages and strictly drug- and alcohol-free. Any violations jeopardize the future of the fair.

Venue rules & info

  • Seating is pre- allocated. Arrangements will not be released prior to the event or changed once confirmed.
  • If attending both days, you must pack up and remove everything at the end of each day.
  • Only registered stallholders may be behind the table. We provide chairs for each registered participant, but no extras.
  • Sticky volunteers can watch your table briefly if needed.

At your stall

  • 80% of your table must be zines. For example, if you display four (4) zines, you may include one (1) non-zine item.
  • Tables primarily showcasing non-zine items (e.g., stickers, pins, prints, patches) will be asked to remove those items.
  • All your items must fit on a full or half-standard trestle table (180cm x 75cm).
  • Free-standing racks or additional displays are not allowed.
  • T-shirts, plants, and food are not permitted for sale, trade, or giveaway.
  • Incense, candles, and open flames are prohibited. You may use battery-operated lights (e.g., fairy lights).
